Our Traineeships
Our Traineeships are aimed at giving 16 to 18 year-olds the opportunity to develop the skills they need to find, and succeed in, employment or progress onto an Apprenticeship.
Our Traineeship include:
- A high-quality work experience placement with an employer that we will find for you
- A guaranteed employer reference for your CV
- Work preparation including practical training in our vocational workshops
- English and maths (if you need to improve your grades to apply for an Apprenticeship)
Traineeships are part of the Apprenticeship family, however, there are a number of differences between the schemes. Our Traineeships are delivered at our training sites and have the aim of securing young people’s progression to an Apprenticeship or sustainable job as quickly as possible.
The programmes are great for those who are looking for an alternative to college, those looking for a real life experience not just classroom based or those who want to progress onto an Apprenticeship.
