We are a small but expanding bookkeepers based in the heart of Clitheroe. Our office is situated at Holmes Mill Business Park, which is one of the most vibrant social destinations in the Ribble Valley, with a food hall, cinema, bowling and brewery all within walking distance.
An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to assist us in bookkeeping and admin support, so we are looking for a committed individual who wishes to work in all areas of bookkeeping and VAT returns.
You will be gaining valuable workplace experience, whilst working towards your AAT qualification.

Duties will include:
- General bookkeeping
- Inputting documents into applicable software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Dext and Hubdoc.
- Scanning documents and maintaining an organised filing system.
- Processing incoming and outgoing post
- Dealing with incoming emails in connection to client queries
- Answering telephone calls
- Assisting with the processing and preparation of VAT returns
- Completion of accounts and other duties
Things to consider:
- Your normal working days will be Monday– Thursday (no weekends)
- You will either be based at our office in Clitheroe or assisting one of our team members at a clients. Locations will vary.
- Apprenticeships are paid for their normal working hours and the training that is part of their apprenticeship (usually one day a week)
- The apprenticeship National Minimum wage is updated every April.
