Training 2000 is a leading provider of Scaffolding & Access Equipment training to the Construction industry and is a registered NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation) Information Member. Our purpose built CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) accredited Scaffolding Training Centre located in Blackburn is fully equipped to deliver a wide range of training from basic awareness sessions through to Scaffold Inspection level courses.

All of our instructors have extensive industry experience both in the UK and globally and have completed nationally recognised qualifications. We have vast experience in designing and developing bespoke training solutions and can tailor a programme suited to your individual requirements. We can also deliver training at a location of your choice (subject to facilities and equipment available).

Our Training Courses

Asbestos Awareness
This Asbestos Awareness training covers the properties of asbestos and its effects on health, including the increased risk of developing lung cancer for asbestos workers who smoke and the types, uses and likely occurrence of asbestos and asbestos materials in buildings and plant.
CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Course (Tube & Fitting)
Upon completion, the operative will be able as a member of a team to erect alter and dismantle the covered scaffold structures safely and in the correct sequence.
CISRS – Advanced Scaffold Inspection
This course is intended for persons responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use.
CISRS – Advanced Scaffold Inspection Training Scheme (SITS) – Event / Group
This course is intended for persons who are required to inspect complex Tube & Fitting scaffolds on a regular basis.
CISRS Advanced Skills Test & Assessment
Successful completion of the 2 day in centre skills test and VQ assessment is a mandatory element of the CISRS scheme.
CISRS Basic Scaffold Safety Inspection
To develop the delegates understanding of scaffold components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds.
CISRS Basic Scaffold Safety Inspection Group
To develop the delegates understanding of scaffold components, forms of construction and inspection procedures of basic access scaffolds.
CISRS CPD Scaffolder / Advance Scaffolder Renewal
Delegates are eligible to attend the course up to six months in advance of their CISRS card expiry date. Their new cards will expire five years after the expiry of their existing card. For delegates who attend the course after their card has expired, they expiry of their new card will be five years from the date of the card processing date.
CISRS Part 1 (Tube & Fitting) Scaffolding
In line with CISRS requirement this 10 day training course upon successful completion will provide the candidate with a CISRS centre training certification.
CISRS Part 2 (Tube & Fitting) Scaffolding
In line with CISRS requirement this 10 day training course upon successful completion will provide the candidate with a CISRS centre training certification.
CISRS Skills Test & Assessment
Successful completion of the 1 day in centre skills test and VQ assessment is a mandatory element of the CISRS scheme.
New Entrant Constructions Operatives Training Scheme
The course is for operatives who carry out onsite Labouring duties in support of Scaffolding operations. The holder of a CISRS Trainee Scaffolder or CISRS Scaffolding labourer card will have current Health and Safety knowledge and the required skills to carry out their duties in a safe manner.
Preventing Falls in Scaffolding & Falsework
This course will help delegates to understand how to prevent falls from scaffolding and falsework.
Safe Use of Harness & Inspection
To understand how to use a safety harness in a correct and safe manner
Safe Use of Ladders
To raise awareness and understanding on correct safe method of use of ladders.
Safe Working At Height
The Safe Working at Heights course provides an appreciation of safety legislation.
Safe Working on Roofs – Group
To provide candidates with an appreciation of safety legislation covering working on roofs and examination of good working practices.
Scaffolding Management & Supervisory Training
To give the attendees such knowledge and skills to enable them to efficiently plan and supervise scaffolding operations.
System Scaffold Product Training Scheme – Cuplok
Attendees who successfully complete the training and assessment will be issued with a CISRS training certificate.
System Scaffold Product Training Scheme – Cuplok – Group
This course is for those who use Cuplok system scaffolding and require CISRS card endorsement. Delegates must be have attended a minimum of Part 1 training course and hold a current CISRS status card (Trainee/Scaffolder/Advanced)
System Scaffold Product Training Scheme – Plettac – Group
Upon successful completion, delegates will be able to use the specific system scaffold product.
TG20:21 Workshop
TG20:21 has been issued as the industry technical guidance on the use of European Standard BS EN12811-1 and applies to all tube and fitting scaffolds from the most basic to the most complex structure.
