Learner Profile: Liam
Liam started on his Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship after deciding that he wanted to get straight into a hands-on role after college.
Once Liam had finished college, he heard about Training 2000 through his employer and decided to pursue a career in engineering, something Liam has been interested in since leaving school.
Liam is employed by Protec Oscillators & Showers in Burnley and hopes to progress within the company. He believes that his Apprenticeship has helped him to progress and gain new skills that help him in his role.
On his Apprenticeship, Liam says: ‘every course I have been on either taught me something new or gave be the ability to practise and expand my existing skills and knowledge’.
"I would recommend doing an Apprenticeship to gain knowledge of all the different aspects of engineering."
