This City & Guilds 2382-22 – 18th Edition Course is essential for anyone who works or is involved with electrical installations, especially those who work within the domestic and commercial markets.

This unit identifies the training and development required in order that the learner can demonstrate that they are competent in being able to: Prepare for the programmable controller wiring and testing activities by obtaining all the necessary information, documentation, tools and equipment required, and to plan how you intend to carry out the activities and the sequence of operations they intend to use.

The law requires that any individual wishing to erect, alter or dismantle scaffolding must be able to prove their competency. The industry-wide accepted proof of competency for operatives is to hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder card. Upon completion of this course, the operative will receive a CISRS Advanced Scaffolders Card. Valid for 5 years.

CISRS Trainee Scaffolder card holders will be considered a trainee scaffolder regardless of the experience they have within the scaffolding industry. Accordingly, they should not undertake any scaffolding activities unless they are under the direct supervision of a qualified scaffolder. The Trainee will be expected to complete the following training within the validity of 2 x 18 month CISRS Trainee Scaffolder Cards: • COTS • CISRS Part 1 • CISRS Part 2 • NVQ Level 2/ SCQF Level 5 • CISRS 1 Day Skills Test

This half day course is designed to help engineers know the correct methods when handling Abrasive Wheels. This will include handling, maintaining, checking for hazards and the correct methods of removing and re-installing Abrasive Wheels.
