Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technicians are responsible for the planning, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of fire, or security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms and access control) equipment. Our Level 3 Fire and Security Apprenticeship is designed to provide individuals with the technical expertise and practical skills needed within this industry.
The program covers key areas such as installing, maintaining, and repairing fire detection and security systems, understanding compliance and safety standards, and working with the latest technology. The apprentice is tested through an end-point assessment that typically includes a practical skills test, a professional discussion, and a review of evidence showing their competence in installing and maintaining fire and security systems.
