Learner Profile: Ben
Ben began his Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship in 2019 following military service.
On achieving a Distinction in his Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship, Ben is in the process of starting a Higher National Certificate in Lead Maintenance.
Ben decided to do an Apprenticeship when he met with employers at a job fair and believed that the route related to his career goals, both short and long-term, since leaving the military. He is supported by his company and aspires to have a long and successful career, with the desire to succeed and be a great role model for his two children. Ben is progressing with his academic studies with a goal of moving into management.
