Description

Our basic electrical maintenance course enables non-electrical personnel to carry out simple electrical tasks safely and efficiently and be able to identify electrical faults.

At the end of the course you'll be able to

  • Use and Understand electrical terminology
  • Apply the principles of electrical safety
  • State the basic requirements of Electricity at Work Regulations
  • Use and understand simple electrical drawings
  • Recognise and select appropriate types of fuses
  • Connect and disconnect industrial three phase motors
  • Test industrial phase motors
  • Use and fault find on simple electrical motor starting systems
