Vacancy Description
Do you have comprehensive knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules? Are you experienced in compliance auditing of ESFA/ DfE provision? Can you work with people to drive process improvements?
We have an exciting opportunity for a pro-active self-starter at Training 2000 for a Funding & Compliance Officer to join the Quality and Contracts department. We are looking for a committed and passionate individual to join the team to further strengthen the compliance of our Apprenticeship and Traineeship provision.
The role is responsible for driving compliance through in our Apprenticeship and Traineeship to mitigate audit risk, ensure compliance with Government Funding Rules to prevent claw back from Funding Agencies.
You will be responsible for delivering the annual schedule of funding body compliance activity and analysing data quality reports, to identify and prioritise the auditing of high-risk areas to identify noncompliance issues and their root causes.
You will then work with Managers to drive improvements to systems and behaviours through corrective action plans, process review, support and training.
You will enable visibility through compliance reports to Managers and the SMT, which identify the current position and action taken on compliance in relation to the Education and Skills Funding Agency Contracts, as part of the risk management process.
