CISRS Advanced Skills Test & Assessment (Working towards VQ Level 3)
Successful completion of the 2 day in centre skills test and VQ assessment is a mandatory element of the CISRS scheme.
Trainees competence will be assessed in the following areas:
- Interpreting instructions and information – Producing material lists and method statements
- Selecting and checking components
- The practical erection and dismantling of a tubular slung scaffold and a raking shore
- The practical erection and dismantling of a drop scaffold from steel work Through questioning it will be possible to infer competence across the remaining structures covered in the relevant NVQ units.

Scaffolders working towards Advanced CISRS status. NVQ Advanced Assessment is appropriate for those who have completed the advanced course and possess a minimum of six months site experience.
Must have completed the CISRS Advanced course & NVQ Level 3 followed by a minimum 6 month time gap/site experience.
