Training 2000’s IMI accredited Automotive Training Centre is widely recognised as a leading provider of skills training and accreditation to the motor vehicle and repair industry.

Our training centre offers a clean, modern, multi-functional learning environment incorporating spacious workshops with the latest technology and a suite of interactive training classrooms. All workshops are designed and equipped to provide a wide range of practical ‘real life’ training programmes to ensure you stay ahead of latest advancements in the industry. Our highly experienced Automotive specialists will provide you with the highest standard of quality training in your chosen vocation and will ensure you are equipped with the essential knowledge and skills.

Training and assessments range from IMI Accreditation (ATA) preparation courses through to IMI training in MET, Panel/Body Repair, Paint/Refinishing, Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), F-Gas/Air Conditioning and Smart Repair Techniques. Bespoke training programmes can also be designed and delivered to meet your specific requirements and certain types of training can be offered at a location to suit your needs (subject to facilities and equipment available).

We also specialise in delivering automotive Apprenticeship programmes and understand the need for highly skilled and dedicated individuals to continuously drive the motor vehicle industry forward. The following Apprenticeships are delivered in our Automotive Training Centre: Autocare Technician, Heavy Vehicle and Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance, Vehicle Damage MET, Paint and Panel.

Our Training Courses

Advanced Driver Assist Systems
AOM230 is intended for technicians whose job role involves working with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
F-Gas – Automotive Refrigerant Handling
This Defra-approved qualification offers a single unit solution that provides experienced automotive Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) technicians with evidence that they meet the minimum F-gas requirement (EC842/2006 AND ANNEX EC307/2008)
Hybrid Electric Vehicle Awareness
With the large increase in Hybrid Electric Vehicles and vehicle manufacturers moving away from the dependence of the internal combustion engine, the industry requires awareness of HEV vehicles.
Hybrid Electric Vehicle Operation and Maintenance
This Award is designed for technicians who maintain and repair hybrid technology vehicles and could also provide the essential knowledge and skills for members of the emergency services who may attend an accident involving a high voltage hybrid vehicle.
Hybrid / Electric Vehicle System Repair And Replacement
The content of this qualification has been designed to give the candidate the knowledge and skills required to work safely on Electric/Hybrid vehicles whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities. This may include vehicles that may have or had damage to their high energy/electrical system.
Paint – Senior Technician IMI Accreditation
The IMI Accreditation Paint route is intended for technicians whose job role involves the repair of vehicles typically involved in accidents or similar incident circumstances.
