Cyber Essentials

We’re delighted to announce that Sarah Green has this week joined the Training 2000 team as Business Manager for Cyber Security. Sarah’s role will be to develop a new cyber security training facility based in Nelson.

Sarah’s background in cyber security spans over three years, previously playing an active role in starting up a cyber security SME in the North West region. Sarah has witnessed the pace at which the cyber threat landscape changes and intends to use her experience and knowledge to create a diverse portfolio services for Training 2000 which will ensure our clients can implement robust cyber security strategies which reflect their culture, ethics and budgets to mitigate their exposure to risk.

Training 2000 has recognised the growing threat of cyber attack to UK businesses and we intend to expand our business solutions offer through providing a series of cyber security training programmes and consultancy to cross-sector businesses. We also have future plans to provide apprenticeships to close the skills gap and to provide training to individual computer users to enhance a cohesive plan to help raise the UK’s defences against the threat of cyber attack.

We also intend to integrate a culture of cyber security into their own company, as part of this we’re proud to have recently gained Cyber Essentials certification, the Government’s flagship scheme for demonstrating good practice in cyber security processes.
