Q - What is an Apprenticeship?
A - An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You’re an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you’ll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.
Q - What is a Traineeship?
A - A Traineeship is a course with work experience that gets you ready for work or an apprenticeship.
Q - What qualifications do I need to apply?
A - For a Traineeship you’ll need GCSEs in maths and English at grade 4 or above.
Every Apprenticeship is different depending on the subject and the level. Our Level 2 Apprenticeships require you to have a minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 3/2.
Q - Do I get paid?
A - Yes, apprentices get paid a wage. There is a minimum Apprenticeship wage, but some employers pay more than this.
Q - How long does an Apprenticeship last?
A - Every Apprenticeship is different. The ones we offer at Training 2000 are from 1 year to 4 years. Because we are part of the University of Central Lancashire you could progress onto a Degree Apprenticeship, so this would extend the length of your Apprenticeship.
Q - How do I apply?
A - Visit our website www.training2000.co.uk and fill out our application form.
Q - What happens after I apply?
A - Our recruitment team will get in touch with you to arrange an informal chat and talk to you about our apprenticeship vacancies or our Traineeships. They will then put you forward for interviews or enrol you on one of our Traineeships.
Complete the following details and we will get in touch.
