The role that we are recruiting for is part of our FE / HE team and therefore, you will be joining a team of 8 FE / HE Tutors who are highly motivated, solutions focused and have a fantastic and supportive team ethos.
We’re looking for a FE / HE Tutor that will deliver both Higher and Further education qualifications. The Higher Education element of this role is to deliver and assess the qualifications at Levels 4 (HNC) and 5 (HND) in the engineering disciplines of Manufacturing, Design, Project Management, Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance or Electrical and Electronics. Alongside this, the Further Education element includes the assessment of BTEC (Pearson) qualifications at Levels 2 and 3 in engineering disciplines.
We are looking for someone who holds an appropriate Engineering qualification at level 4 or above and has experience teaching ideally at HE level.
In return, you will be part of the continuing development of the FE and HE delivery at Training 2000 as we continue to grow as part of the UCLan group. You will play a fundamental part in Training 2000 achieving its strategic vision by continuously improving its teaching and learning.
For this role, you will receive a salary of up to £37,000 per annum (dependent upon qualifications) and a competitive benefits package. In addition, we believe in providing more than just salary and benefits and we’ll give you time and support to develop your career. Our FE / HE Tutors continually develop themselves and we’re in the process of developing a learning and development strategy with dedicated CPD days to ensure our whole workforce can continually enhance their career.
To give you an idea of our benefits, we firmly believe in having a good work life balance and therefore, they include 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This entitlement will increase with over time to 32 days and you are also able to purchase up to 5 days extra per year. In addition to this, from the day you join, you will receive life assurance whilst employed at 4 x your annual salary. Finally, with pensions being an important part of peoples career, following 6 months service you will be entitled to enrol into our Group Private Pension scheme where we will match contributions up to 5%.
