About the role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity at Training 2000 for a Functional Skills Tutor to join an established team of professionals in supporting our learners across the business. We are looking for a Functional Skills tutor who has a specialism in mathematics and is able to demonstrate practical ways in which learners can use their skills in the workplace.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a dedicated and passionate individual who has a desire to see mathematics and English at the heart of what we can instil in the future working population.

 

You will be teaching in groups and on a one to one basis ensuring learner progress is monitored and recorded as this will contribute significantly to the whole learner journey.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • To develop and deliver creative, engaging and inclusive high quality learning programmes for mathematics, English and ICT in accordance with awarding organisations specifications and standards, and ensuring the effective evaluation of such programmes.

 

  • To monitor and continuously update learner records ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations and in line with company requirements. Provide information regarding learner’s progress, achievements and support needs.
  • To effectively manage the Quality Assurance process of each qualification in line with the company’s standards and the awarding organisation specifications and standards, in order to continuously improve the learner experience.

 

  • To ensure the safety and well-being of all learners in all work related and learning environments in accordance with the company’s safeguarding policy, health and safety policy, equality and diversity policies and code of conduct as part of the organisations duty of care.

We have an exciting opportunity at Training 2000 for an Electrical Maintenance Training Officer to join their established team of professionals within the Engineering department. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to join the team to support the growth of the programme and continue the successes.

 

The main purpose of the role is to provide training and assessment of Engineering learners within the workplace and training environment.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • To provide support for the quality assurance and compliance of engineering programmes
  • To maintain a safe working environment at all times
  • To liaise with employers, including visiting the workplace as directed
  • To assist in the maintenance of learner recording systems including tracking documents, e-portfolios and LMS
  • To adhere to T2000’s timetable schedule of assessment and reviews ensuring that any necessary adjustments are authorised by the Manager of Education and Skills – Engineering
  • To assist with T2000 marketing and publicity as and where required and attend marketing and enrolment events, either in person or on-line.
  • To provide comprehensive guidance, advice and support to Employers, customers and learners on their training needs, requirements covering all of the Training 2000 training portfolio.
  • To generate additional revenues in line with the Company’s business plan by recruiting quality learners through effective initial assessment and further development of existing client relationships in order to gain new customers both internally and externally to the organisation.
  • To carry out and effectively manage the quality assurance process in compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures adhering to the requirements of external stakeholders which includes awarding bodies and funding organisations.

About the role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team for a temporary period of 4 months to cover paternity leave.  At Training 2000 the customer is at the heart of what we do and our Account Manager team forms a key part of the Business Development service. This is a really exciting time to join as you will be able to help shape the Account Manager role and work directly with the Head of Business Development to further strengthen new and existing customer relationships.

 

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for being the lead contact for new and existing customers ensuring that all matters relating to that account are resolved quickly and maximise business opportunities.  Along with achieving growth targets for all Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Commercial training.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • To be the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters by regularly holding face to face meetings with new and existing customers to discuss any account matters including issues arising, future needs, concerns or queries.
  • To provide a responsive customer service to new and existing clients by responding to any customer contact enquiries through email, phone or meetings in a timely manner
  • To maintain and grow existing client relationships which in turn will help develop new business leads by upselling and cross selling the Training 2000 offer.
  • To manage pipeline and opportunities for both Apprenticeship and Commercial sales against agreed KPIs
  • To provide weekly updates on reporting of sales results against target
  • To build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing information, advice and guidance on all Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Commercial training to maximise business income and opportunities
  • To build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and customers by gaining a robust knowledge of the market place and identifying any business growth opportunities / programmes within both existing and new markets.
  • To regularly attend Training 2000 events which include but are not limited to schools, open evenings and weekend taster clubs ensuring that you are promoting and supporting the brand
  • To assist with challenging customer requests and support the resolution of any customer complaints or concerns by quickly working towards a solution and escalating as required to a member of the leadership team
  • Identify engage, plan and develop new opportunities / income streams in both Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Commercial training.
  • Be the lead communicator to our clients ensuring key information, changes and requirements are given and supporting them with these where required
  • Work closely with our key clients to understand the changing market place and to lead on identifying sales opportunities within this environment.
  • Coordinate with various Training 2000 teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver innovative and inspirational learning which covers the skills, knowledge and behaviours relevant to the occupational sector, whilst providing effective learner support.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • Support the learners and employers through setting relevant work-based projects and assisting with the portfolio build to showcase for the end point assessment for both Level 3 and Level 4

 

  • Co-ordinate and support training sessions within the classroom environment and preparation for tests to enable learners to complete AAT qualifications.

 

  • Assess Level 3 and Level 4 Portfolios to support in preparation for their EPA to enable learners to complete the required standard.

 

  • Involvement in the innovative design and development of the AAT apprenticeship standards

About the Role

The role that we are recruiting for is part of our Engineering team and therefore, you will be joining a team of Engineering Instructors who are training Apprentices from across the North West in a range of engineering disciplines.

 

We’re looking for an Engineering Instructor that has a background in hydraulics, pneumatics or fitting who will complement our existing team and who wants to pass on that knowledge to our Apprentices.

 

You will be responsible for delivery on the governments newly created qualification developed in partnership with employers and delivering training to industry standards in all disciplines where they are currently available. You will be teaching predominantly practical based sessions to our apprentices in our Centre Workshop although some theoretical sessions will be required.

 

We are looking for someone who has a strong Engineering background and has experience in hydraulics, pneumatics or fitting. Our ideal candidate will also have experience in teaching and assessing although this is not essential and full training and qualifications can be provided as part of our attractive benefits package.

 

In return, you will join a team of highly skilled people who truly make a difference to the lives of our Engineering apprentices. You will help Engineers fulfil their potential and develop fantastic relationships with both our apprentices and their employers.

 

Below is a list of some of the role responsibilities:

 

  • To continuously develop the relationship with employers, customers and learners to enhance the Company reputation of delivery and quality service in a highly responsive manner and to ensure that we create the best possible apprenticeship opportunities.

 

  • To provide comprehensive guidance, advice and support to Employers, customers and learners on their training needs, requirements covering all of the Training 2000 training portfolio.

 

  • To help support with recruiting quality learners through effective initial assessments and further development of existing client relationships in order to gain new customers both internally and externally to the organisation.

 

  • To promote and help deliver Apprenticeships and higher level Engineering Qualifications from the starting point right through to degree level.

 

  • To carry out regular risk assessments of the learning process and environment in accordance with the Company’s risk assessment policy and procedure, and implement any relevant control measure/ action plans.
