Q – What is the difference between the three Digital Apprenticeships?

A – Within the IT industry the skills you learn the building blocks that allow you to progress through different and more senior roles. Infrastructure Technician is normally the first of those blocks and everything else is built upon that. You can then progress onto the Network Engineer and/or Cyber Security Technologist Apprenticeship.


Q – What does a ‘portfolio of evidence’ mean?

A – This relates to evidence collected by the learner to ‘prove’ they have met the standards. This could be examples of work completed, positive feedback received from customers/managers or a written statement detailing the steps taken to resolve problems.


Q – Where would I store my ‘portfolio of evidence’?

A – We make use of an online portfolio system, which means everyone has access 24/7 whether working in the office or from home.


Q – I struggle with English/Maths – can I still apply?

A – Absolutely – we support all learners to develop their Maths/English skills throughout the programme and deliver Functional Skills qualifications at the appropriate level where applicable.


Q – How often will I meet with my assessor?

A – Your assessor will conduct monthly meetings, where learning and development will take place as well as assessments.


Q – How do I apply?
