WorldSkills UK CEO has written to Training 2000 Chief Executive, thanking the training provider for hosting an ‘amazing’ selection competition to help pick Team UK.

Highlighting the work Training 2000 staff put in to support the event and ensure this crucial competition ran smoothly, Dr Neil Bentley stressed how important this was in helping select the strongest team to represent the UK at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi later this year.

Training 2000 hosted the CNC milling, CNC turning and manufacturing team challenge – with some of the best young manufacturers and engineers competing.

Over 250 apprentices from across Training 2000 visited the competitors during the week, along with visitors from local businesses.

Team UK will be announced on April 21.
