CISRS New Entrant Constructions Operatives Training Scheme (COTS)

Duration: One Day

The course is for operatives who carry out onsite Labouring duties in support of Scaffolding operations. The holder of a CISRS Trainee Scaffolder or CISRS Scaffolding labourer card will have current Health and Safety knowledge and the required skills to carry out their duties in a safe manner.

Card applications can only be processed where a current CSCS H&S test either Work at Height or Operative (taken within last 2 years) or an appropriate exemption is in place evidence of which should be provided upon booking.

Where will I study:

Training 2000’s scaffolding centre in Blackburn  or Available at Customers Venue upon request


entry requirements:

Attendees who successfully complete the COTS course will be issued with a CISRS COTS course certification.  This can then be used to support CISRS card applications having confirmed initial Health & Safety site awareness.

This course is aimed at anyone wishing to make a first time application for a CISRS Trainee Scaffolder or CISRS Scaffolding Labourer Card.


Upon successful completion delegates having completed the course will have understanding of the Health & Safety content and safe method of practice covered within the set content of the course.
