Two Training 2000 learners have been recognised for their achievements at a national ceremony – after being nominated for the GTA England Apprentice of the Year Awards 2016.
Sophie Judge was nominated in the engineering category whilst Ellenor Stavert in the business services category – and attended the awards ceremony in Coventry.
Part of the Group Training Association’s AGM, the four finalists in both categories were chosen by a four-person judging panel.
The judging criteria throughout the process looked at a demonstration of commitment to personal development and progression, an outstanding contribution in their workplace and inspirational levels of achievement and attainment.
This recognition for Training 2000 apprentices follows on from the recent success in this year’s World Skills UK competition, where learners won a total of five medals – with Training 2000 finishing 5th out of 140 providers taking part.
