There are many reasons to employ an apprentice, Apprenticeships offer a unique way to invest in young people and improve the sustainability of your business. However, one of the most common things we hear from employers is that they struggle finding young people straight from school, college or sixth forms who have employability skills which fit in with modern industry.

Training providers deliver the Traineeships, which are funded by the government, with employers providing the valuable work experience placement and a final interview as part of the programme.

The structured work experience aspect of the Traineeship allows companies to see if the trainee is a good fit with their business aims and culture and will get the opportunity to take them on as an Apprentice employee on completion of the programme.
