Description

Training in a classroom and workshop environment to cover aspects of the ATA VDA assessment. The classroom/practical training to include the following vehicle areas: - Safety and liability - Damage appraisal - Vehicle appraisal - Repair methodology - Salvage categorisation - Estimating systems - Industry general knowledge In addition to the above training will focus in the requirements of the ATA VDA assessment requirements to allow the delegate to practice these skills ‘back in the workplace’ prior to attending a ATA VDA assessment.

Pre-Requisites

Experience in an appropriate estimator/engineer role

Target Group

The pre-ATA assessment training is designed for experienced estimators/engineers and should be of interest for companies aiming to achieve the BSI Kitemark Standard in view of the recently released PAS 125 document. It may also be of interest for those technicians working within the industry who wish to attain recognition for their level of skills.

Aim

A 2 day session will focus on the core skills required by vehicle estimators / engineers. The day will consist of classroom and workshop training sessions.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of the training course the candidate will have highlighted and addressed their own skills needs in relation to the requirements of the ATA VDA assessment.
