On-line Assesment
Description
On-Line testing in a classroom environment. The test will include the following seven areas:
- Safety and liability
- Damage appraisal
- Vehicle appraisal
- Repair methodology
- Salvage categorisation
- Estimating systems
- Industry general knowledge
To successfully achieve the VDA Part A candidates must achieve a minimum of 70% in each of the seven areas.
A minimum of 5 years motor industry experience with at least 2 years industry experience in an appropriate role i.e. vehicle estimator or similar
Target Group
The VDA ATA Part A assessment is designed to test the underpinning knowledge of experienced estimators/engineers and should be of interest for companies aiming to achieve the BSI Kitemark Standard in view of the recently released PAS 125 document. Estimators/engineers wishing to complete the VDA Part B test must have successfully completed all elements of the Part A test.
Aim
The testing session will focus on the core skills required by vehicle estimators / engineers.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the on-line assessment the candidate will have demonstrated that they have sufficient underpinning knowledge to allow them to access the VDA part B practical test.
