Description
Course content includes assessment on the following:
- Set up Measure and Re-align Body Structure Using a Body Jig and Hydraulic Push Pull System
- MIG Brazing
- Repair of a Cosmetic Aluminium Panel
Pre-Requisites
Technicians who have already achieved the ATA Panel Technician qualification within 12 months and wish to upgrade to senior tech level
Target Group
The ATA assessments should be of interest for companies aiming to achieve the BSI Kitemark Standard in view of the recently released PAS 125 document. It may also be of interest for those technicians working within the industry who wish to attain recognition for their level of skills.
Aim
A 1 day assessment to assess a candidates underpinning knowledge by on-line test and their practical skills by a series of workshop tasks relating to their occupation. The technician must have first completed and passed the Panel Technician ATA Assessment. The upgrade of the Senior ATA Assessment must be completed within 6 months from successfully undertaking the Panel Technician Assessment.
Please note:- 1. Candidates who have not already completed the Panel Technician assessment within the six months prior to the upgrade day will not be eligible for this assessment and will have to complete the standard 3 day Senior Panel Technician assessment.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of all the elements of the assessments day the candidate will have demonstrated their competence at Senior Technician Level.
