Those who are required to understand and complete risk assessments in the workplace.
Aim
To enable participants to understand the Regulations in respect of General Risk Assessments and the control action which is required to be taken to reduce the risk of injury.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates should be able to;
- Define the difference between a hazard and a risk
- List the things that have to be considered when carrying out a Risk Assessment
- Complete a Risk Assessment and recommend a suitable and reliable control method
- Audit and review Risk Assessments and their controls
