Target Group
Anyone who is required to use measuring instruments as part of their role in a manufacturing environment.
Aim
A 1 day course covering the principles of measurement using a range of instruments commonly used in the Engineering industry.
Objectives
On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:
- Use a range of metric measuring techniques and identify the applications where they should be employed
- Use a range of metrology instruments including:
o Vernier Scales
o Micrometers
o Slip gauges
o Dial test indicators
o Profiles using a shadow graph
