Description
Introduction to Mobile Access Towers - Tower Assembly - Stability - Safe Use of Towers - Repositioning Towers - Tower Inspection - Care & Maintenance - Tower Dismantle Regulations and Standards Competency will be confirmed through successful completion of a written & practical test.
Pre-Requisites
Delegates will need to have good comprehension of literacy & language as reference to User Manuals is required throughout the training.
Delegates will also be required to be able to work at height upto 4m as this course has practical sessions as part of the assessment process.
Target Group
This course is aimed at candidates who are required to assemble dismantle or alter Mobile Access Towers. It is also intended for those who have responsibility of Managing/Supervising areas in which mobile towers are used.
Aim
To obtain recognition of competency in assembling dismantling the alteration of Mobile Access Towers.
Objectives
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 require that the assembly dismantling or alteration of Mobile Access Towers should only be undertaken by a competent person or if being trained under the supervision of a competent person. Successful delegates who pass a written and practical test will be issued with a competency certificate and an encapsulated credit card sized Photo Card.
Assessment
Regulations and Standards Competency will be confirmed through successful completion of a written & practical test.
