Description
Course content includes assessment on the following:
- Underpinning Knowledge Test
- MIG Welding to BSI Standards
- Spot Welding to BSI Standards
- Rectification of Panel Damage (Panel Beating Techniques)
- Preparation Application and Finishing of cold Filler
- Panel Removal and Replacement Procedures (Bolted Panel)
- Panel Removal and Replacement Procedures (Welded Panel)
Pre-Requisites
A minimum of 2 years experience as a Panel Technician would be advantageous
Target Group
The ATA assessments should be of interest for companies aiming to achieve the BSI Kitemark Standard in view of the recently released PAS 125 document. It may also be of interest for those technicians working within the industry who wish to attain recognition for their level of skills.
Aim
A 2 day assessment to assess a candidates underpinning knowledge by on-line test and their practical skills by a series of workshop tasks relating to their occupation.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of all the elements of the assessments day the candidate will have demonstrated their competence at Technician Level.
