Target Group
This course is aimed at those with practical experience of inspection and testing of LV electrical installations, who may possibly require certification for registration with NICEIC. It is not suitable for beginners.
Aim
A 5 day course to enable participants to apply the requirements of part 7 BS7671 as set out in guidance note 3. On completion of the course participants will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their competence by sitting the C&G 2392 exam and undertaking a practical assessment.
Objectives
On successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:
- Carry out both an initial verification and a periodic inspection
- Select and use the appropriate test kit
- Use the test procedures set out in guide number 3
- State the limitations of various items of equipment
- Correctly complete the model forms recommended by the IEE
