Pre-Requisites
Must be OK to drive medically and have reasonably good eye sight.
Target Group
Persons who have no experience on lift trucks.
Aim
A 5 day course for a person to obtain the RTITB Fork lift Truck Certificate after completing the required practical and theoretical test/s as laid down by current legislations and recommendations.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course the operator will be able to demonstrate how to operate a FLT correctly and safely, taking care and consideration for the people in and around the working area. They will have demonstrated their practical ability of how to use a Fork Lift Truck under examination, the correct method of carrying out a pre-use inspection and successfully completed a theory paper.
Assessment
Questions and answers with practical experience whilst under assessment.
