Must hold a Counterbalance Truck license.
Target Group
Persons who are experienced lift truck operators but need to adapt their skills to convert to operating another truck. They will already hold an accredited certificate of training for the truck they can already operate.
Aim
A 2 day course for a person to obtain a valid RTITB Fork lift Truck Certificate for the relevant skill after completing the required practical and theoretical test/s as laid down by current legislations and recommendations.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course the operator will be able to demonstrate how to operate a FLT correctly and safely taking care and consideration for the people in and around the working area. They will have demonstrated their practical ability of how to use a Fork Lift Truck under examination the correct method of carrying out a pre use inspection and successfully completed a theory paper.
