Description
A 1½ day course which combines training and assessment to qualify individuals on EU F gas regulations. The training day consists of classroom exercises and workshop demonstrations followed by an on-line test to assess a candidates underpinning knowledge. The practical test will be carried out after the training day at an agreed date and time.
Pre-Requisites
Experienced technicians who will be in contact with Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Systems
Target Group
Technicians working on Air Conditioning vehicle systems require a refrigerant handling qualification which meets Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) Commission Regulations. This qualification meets those requirements.
Aim
Upon successful completion of the on-line test and practical assessment, the candidate will have demonstrated their competence in relation to automotive refrigerant handling and will have achieved a level 3 qualification.
Objectives
Delegate will have current updates on health and safety and will be able to demonstrate the safe use of a refrigerant cylinder including coneection, operation and disconnection of a recovery set
Assessment
Candidate observation, underpinning knowledge on-line test and practical assessment, one to one feedback with assessor at end of course regarding attainment
