Target Group
Anyone requiring emergency first aid skills or for low risk occupations employing less than 50 people. People providing support to the qualified first aiders.
Aim
1 day course to provide delegates with a working knowledge of basic life support techniques.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course the candidate will have a basic understanding of:
• Clear an obstructed airway
• Maintain breathing
• Maintain circulation
• Treat minor bleeding
• Place a casualty into the recovery position
• Treat burns/fractures
•Know what is in the first aid box
