First Look at New Pioneering Advanced Manufacturing Automation Centre

Industry leaders from across the North West will have the opportunity to gain a first-hand look at a new state-of-the-art engineering & manufacturing facility at several upcoming seminars.

Held on Wednesday 20 July and Wednesday 3 August, the free pre-launch breakfast briefings will include tours of the Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Centre (AMAC), presentations and networking opportunities.

The £1m Advanced Manufacturing Automation Centre (AMAC) includes the latest technologies and equipment, with industry-experienced trainers upskilling learners and commercial staff across a range of courses and disciplines.

£800,000 was received towards the project from the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership, supporting the key goals of the AMAC to build skills in advanced manufacturing and ensure the North West Lancashire workforce, both current and future gains the skills and knowledge necessary in a 21st century engineering and manufacturing environment.
