Over 100 people attended the final engineering Saturday club session as learners and parents celebrated around 60 Year 10 & 11 pupils completing several projects which provided an insight into a career in engineering.

Learners received certificates from Training 2000 CEO Steve Gray to recognise the skills they had gained during the 10-week course, where those taking part tried the variety of different engineering disciplines available.

The presentation took place in front of family, friends and Training 2000 staff in the £1.2m Advanced Manufacturing & Automation Centre (AMAC) where learners have had the chance to experience the very latest technology in Engineering & Manufacturing.

The Saturday club is a fantastic way for young people to get hands on experience in Training 2000’s outstanding engineering facilities – many go on to successfully start an apprenticeship.
