About the role
The role that we are recruiting for is part of our Traineeships team and therefore, you will be joining a team of highly motivated individuals who are committed to supporting 16-19 year olds into apprenticeships or employment.
As an Employability Tutor, you will have the privilege of leading groups of learners through the Employability course and beyond. You will play a big part in preparing each individual learner for their work placement and future employment. You will primarily teach Employability and Personal and Social Development skills. This will include;
It will be essential for the successful candidate to provide effective learner support and assessment throughout all stages of the programme, whilst working closely with the team to effectively manage our learner’s journey.
We are looking for a tutor who can inspire, understand and motivate whilst also taking accountability for all they do, with good understanding of classroom management strategies to further aid the engagement of learners. The ideal candidate will have ample experience teaching or training in group settings, ideally with 16-19 year olds. You will also have a relevant qualification in teaching or training. We are looking for someone who is positive, creative and an excellent communicator with a strong passion for teaching. The successful candidate is expected to be well organised, innovative and self-motivated as well as having excellent listening and administrative skills.
This role is a fixed term contract until April 2022.
