Engineering Instructor – Mechanical Maintenance

We are part of the UCLan group which has provided the opportunity for Engineers to study right up to degree levels with ourselves, we are one of the largest Group Training Associations in England, with over 50 years’ experience of delivering high quality training programs to industry and individuals.
An important opportunity has arisen within the Company’s Engineering department for an Instructor – Mechanical Maintenance.
About the Role:
This role will be based from Training 2000’s site in Blackburn and will be a permanent role.
Training 2000 are committed to ensuring that the next generation of Engineers can provide a fantastic addition to employers through the knowledge and skills gained within our excellent Apprenticeship programme. We are delivering the governments newly created qualification developed in partnership with employers and delivering training to industry standards in all disciplines where they are currently available which ensure that you and our apprentices are armed with the knowledge and industry competence to help shape and define how the Engineering sector will develop in the years ahead. Working closely with our employers we help to ensure that the candidate is a fantastic fit for the employer and this role is to designed provide a full and comprehensive training service to Company’s on their business needs, including the delivery of professional and focused support through innovative delivery of Company programmes which will inspire learners to achieve their potential.

The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week; 8.00am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 12.30pm on Fridays, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break Monday to Thursday.
Appointments are subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS; formally the CRB), or a check via the Update Service on a relevant enhanced disclosure. Further information can be obtained from www.gov.co.uk.
