Tutor/Assessor – Dental

An important vacancy has arisen within the Dental department for a Tutor/Assessor based in Blackburn but some travel to Carlisle and Yorkshire.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting young people onto the Apprenticeship programme.
Duties will include training, assessing and carrying out regular reviews to enable learners to complete their Dental Nursing Level 3 Diploma and Apprenticeship.
Other duties will also include marketing of Dental programme and working closely with key account holders.
You will require good communication, organisational and administrative skills and a Dental Nursing qualification recognised by the GDC (General Dental Council).
The candidate will need to have strong experience in the aforementioned duties and preferably will possess post graduate qualifications.
You may also possess the assessor’s award and a teaching qualification, although these are not essential they are desirable. Full training is available for this role.
The post will involve a degree of travel and therefore a full driver’s licence is essential.
