Salary:                              £34,000 per annum

Working hours:              Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week

Contract type:                Permanent

Location:                         Blackburn site with travel to employer sites and scope for some remote working

About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team of professionals within the Automotive department. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to support the growth of the programmes and continue the successes.


If you are currently an experienced Team Leader or currently working in the Automotive sector and looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you! Applications are welcome from those without teaching experience but willing to work towards this qualification.


The main purpose of the role is to deliver operational excellence and to lead and manage the Automotive department and programmes which includes the people, quality of delivery, learner experience, curriculum and funding/quality compliance.


Essential requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
  • Level 3 (or above) Automotive qualification
  • Level 3 (or above) Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)
  • Assessor qualification (or willing to work towards)
  • Verifiers qualification (or willing to work towards)
  • Occupational/industry experience within the Automotive industry
  • Passion and the ability to inspire and motivate learners
  • Pro-active self-starter
  • Willingness to learn and committed to own development
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as good listening skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Full UK driving licence


Desirable requirements:

  • Middle management qualification and/or experience
  • IOSH – Working Safely qualification
  • Level 3 (or above) IAG qualification
  • Ability to deliver on Commercial courses
