About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer Assessor on a part time basis to work one day per week working any day Monday to Thursday. This role can be carried out on an employed fixed term basis until July fixing the one day per week being paid a salary of £25,237 (pro-rata) or we are able to offer this on a self-employed basis with a daily rate of £160 per day.

 

The role that we are recruiting for is part of our Professional Services and Medical team and therefore, you will be joining a team who are growing lots of exciting new qualifications including this one. As a business we are moving with the technology world and the Digital Apprenticeship Market is where we are looking to expand over the next few years. This makes it a really exciting time to join our business as you can help us shape the future of Training 2000.

 

We’re looking for a Network Engineer Assessor that will offer support and assess our Apprentices against the standard. You will be responsible for working with some of our big customers and will have a cohort of learners assigned to you. With these learners, you will help guide them through building a quality portfolio of work which will help them with their end point assessment at the end of their qualification which is expected in July 2019.

 

The primary role of a network engineer assessor is provide support and assess learners who design, install, maintain and support communication networks within an organisation or between organisations. Network engineers need to maintain high levels of operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users, such as staff, clients, customers and suppliers. They will understand network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance. Cyber knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.

 

We are looking for someone who holds relevant qualifications which will allow them to assess qualifications up to and including Level 4. We’re ideally looking for someone who has experience in assessing Apprentices and although not essential holds an appropriate assessors qualification.

About the Role

The role that we are recruiting for is part of our HR Department and therefore, you will be joining a small team who are passionate about making a difference to the future of Training 2000. The HR department is a vital part of the company’s success as we’ve just set out the new business plan which has people at the heart of what we do. This role is perfect for someone wanting to develop their career and build a strong foundation which will allow them to progress through learning from other members of the team and truly understanding the value that HR can add.

 

We’re looking for a HR Assistant that will provide a strong administration service to the business in regards to the full employee lifecycle which will include all contractual documentation and recruitment processing. You will be responsible for managing the end to end process for recruitment which is predominantly direct however agency involvement will also be required. This will include liaising with managers, posting job adverts, collating CV’s and any associated paperwork following an offer of employment being made. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the administration of all contractual documentation which will include changes to terms and conditions of employment and seeing this through to completion for processing in the payroll team. Your customers for this role will be our internal managers and therefore you will be required to approach your role with a customer centred approach and a “can do” attitude.

 

We are looking for someone who has experience within an administration role although this does not need to be in a HR capacity as full training can be provided. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be customer focused and approachable whilst understanding the need for confidentiality in the department. Ideally we are looking for someone who would really love a career in HR and who wants to develop new skills.

 

In return, you will be joining at an exciting time where you can be part of the journey as we set out on achieving our business plan. You will be able to gain new skills, work closely with the HR Advisor and work with managers at all levels to help them with their recruitment needs as well as working on ad hoc project work.

For this role, you will receive a salary of between £15,763 and £18,500 dependent upon experience and a competitive benefits package. In addition, we believe in providing more than just salary and benefits and we’ll give you time and support to develop your career. About The Role:

The role that we are recruiting for is part of our Engineering team and therefore, you will be joining a team of Instructors who are all skilled across a range of disciplines within Engineering and who have a real passion for creating future talent.

 

We’re looking for an Engineering Instructor that has experience in fabrication and welding and who wants to pass on that knowledge to our Apprentices.  You will be responsible for delivery on the governments newly created qualification developed in partnership with employers and delivering training to industry standards in all disciplines where they are currently available. You will be teaching predominantly practical based sessions to our apprentices in our Centre Workshop although some theoretical sessions will be required.

 

This position offers some of the most rewarding days of your career, passing on your industry skills to new apprentices are eager to learn. These young people are going to keep engineering progressing in the UK and you will be at the forefront of keeping the industry alive.

 

We are looking for someone who is a time served Apprentice within a fabrication and welding discipline. Full training and qualifications in regards to teaching and assessing can be provided as part of our attractive benefits package.

 

In return, you will join a team of highly skilled people who truly make a difference to the lives of our Engineering apprentices. You will help Engineers fulfil their potential and develop fantastic relationships with both our apprentices and their employers.

Casual Mini Bus Driver

 Casual, £8.36 per hour

Do you hold a full clean UK driving licence with D1 which allows you to drive a Mini-Bus?

 

If so, then we are looking for someone like you join our team on a casual basis!

 

Training 2000 operates across the North West and as an Apprenticeship provider we offer transportation for our Engineering Apprentices. Your role as a casual Mini-Bus driver would be to pick up our learners in a morning on a designated route and bring them into centre at our Blackburn site. At the end of the day, you would then be responsible for ensuring they are safely dropped off at various pick up points on your designated route. Whilst driving the mini-bus you will be responsible for the safeguarding of our learners ensuring their safe transportation to and from our site.

 

The hours of work are starting anytime from 5:30am to 8am Monday to Friday, 4:30pm to 6:30pm Monday to Thursday and 12:15pm to 2:15pm on a Friday. The hours offered would be dependent upon the routes needing cover when contacted.

 

We are looking for someone who holds a full clean UK driving licence with D1 category licence for Mini-Bus.

 

In return for this role you will receive an hourly rate of £8.36

The role that we are recruiting for is part of our Professional and Medical Services team and therefore, you will be joining a team of professionals who range from your own discipline in AAT through to Business, Digital and Dental Nursing specialists.

 

We’re looking for a Career Development Advisor that will thrive off working with our Apprentices who are working towards their AAT qualifications up to and including level 4. You will be required to support, coach, assess and review learners in both the classroom and workplace which means an element of driving will be required. You’ll be joining the business at a really exciting time as our Apprentices are now working towards the new accounting standards rather than the framework model that has previously been in place.

 

In addition to this, you will also be involved in the recruitment and interview process for applicants for the AAT programme. This will mean that you will be able to interview candidates who you will then help progress through to the end of their course with us and watch as they grow into accounting professionals.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who holds a relevant accounting qualification and has current relevant accounting experience. The ideal candidate will hold an assessors qualification although this is not essential requirement as gaining these qualifications can be supported by us. Due to being required to travel to employers you must hold a full UK driving license.
