About the role:

 

Due to business growth and a refocused strategy for how we can effectively service our customers, we have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team.  At Training 2000 the customer is at the heart of what we do and our Account Manager team forms a key part of the Business Development service. This is a really exciting time to join as you will be able to help shape the Account Manager role and work directly with the Head of Business Development to further strengthen new and existing customer relationships.

 

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for being the lead contact for new and existing customers ensuring that all matters relating to that account are resolved quickly and maximise business opportunities.  Along with achieving growth targets for all Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Commercial training.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • To be the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters by regularly holding face to face meetings with new and existing customers to discuss any account matters including issues arising, future needs, concerns or queries.
  • To provide a responsive customer service to new and existing clients by responding to any customer contact enquiries through email, phone or meetings in a timely manner
  • To maintain and grow existing client relationships which in turn will help develop new business leads by upselling and cross selling the Training 2000 offer.
  • To manage pipeline and opportunities for both Apprenticeship and Commercial sales against agreed KPIs
  • To provide weekly updates on reporting of sales results against target
  • To build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing information, advice and guidance on all Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Commercial training to maximise business income and opportunities
  • To build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and customers by gaining a robust knowledge of the market place and identifying any business growth opportunities / programmes within both existing and new markets.
  • To regularly attend Training 2000 events which include but are not limited to schools, open evenings and weekend taster clubs ensuring that you are promoting and supporting the brand
  • To assist with challenging customer requests and support the resolution of any customer complaints or concerns by quickly working towards a solution and escalating as required to a member of the leadership team
  • Identify engage, plan and develop new opportunities / income streams in both Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Commercial training.
  • Be the lead communicator to our clients ensuring key information, changes and requirements are given and supporting them with these where required
  • Work closely with our key clients to understand the changing market place and to lead on identifying sales opportunities within this environment.
  • Coordinate with various Training 2000 teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • To demonstrate knowledge and compliance with regards to GDPR and all associated Data Protection legislation. This includes having due regard for any personal data that you may come into contact with in your role which includes learners/ customers/ staff, especially when using portable or personal devices (laptops and mobile phones) or when working remotely, in order to keep data secure and confidential.
  • To keep up to date with all GDPR and data protection policies and legislation and understand and report any data security breaches promptly to the appropriate persons.
  • To undertake any other duties required as deemed necessary by the Head of Business Development or a member of the leadership team

We are looking to recruit a Dental Nurse Assessor/Tutor on a full time basis to work 5 days per week within the Cumbria area.

About the Role:

Training 2000 is seeking to appoint a Functional Skills Co-ordinator to join an established team of maths, English and ICT professionals. Some of the key objectives within this role will involve:

  • Planning, delivering and co-ordinating your own training sessions in maths & English
  • Maintaining/building the relationship with our parent organisation UCLan
  • Contributing to the overall success of Apprenticeships both at UCLan and Training 2000
  • Co-ordinate and lead the functional skills delivery with the UCLan Degree Apprenticeship programme.

 

Your role will involve creating engaging delivery content whilst making maths and English come alive. Through working with our dedicated team, we welcome new ideas and content to further enhance the learning experience, whilst also developing our already successful teaching sessions. We are looking for a Co-ordinator / Tutor who can inspire, understand and motivate whilst also taking accountability for all they do. Due to COVID-19, delivery is currently taking place remotely, however once restrictions are lifted, this exciting role enables the successful candidate to work predominantly across Preston, Blackburn and Burnley with some remote teaching, as required.

 

In addition to the teaching aspect of the role, we are looking for someone to co-ordinate and lead the Functional Skills delivery for all UCLan learners who require the qualification. This includes liaising closely with UCLan lecturers and learners to ensure consistency and quality. There is also a financial responsibility of the role to guarantee that all delivery is correctly costed. For this role you will work closely with the English and maths Delivery Manager at T2000 to ensure that quality and communication are at the forefront of our UCLan partnership.

 

The “essential” requirements of the role include:

  • Experience of teaching English and/or maths
  • Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)
  • An adaptable and pro-active attitude
  • A team player, who is a great communicator
  • The ability to travel for work

 

The “desirable” requirements of the role include:

  • Support learners through End Point assessment

 

 

Through working with our dedicated team, we welcome new ideas and content to further enhance the learning experience, whilst also developing our already successful teaching/training sessions. We are looking for an assessor who can inspire, understand and motivate whilst also taking accountability for all they do, with good understanding of engagement of learners. Due to COVID-19, delivery is currently taking place remotely, however once restrictions are lifted you will be based at our Blackburn site with required travel to our employers. Due to this, you must hold a full UK driving licence.

 

As part of the role, you will be required to maintain/build the working relationships we hold with our valued employers, whilst further developing learners to reach their full potential and work towards achieving their aspirations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Business Admin and Customer Service and endeavour to pass on their knowledge and skills to the future generation. They should also possess an Assessors Award A1 qualification or be willing to work towards one. An Internal Verifiers Award V1 would also be beneficial.

 

The successful candidate is expected to be well organised, innovative and creative, self-motivated and a good communicator as well as having excellent listening skills and good administrative skills.

It is expected you will have strong interpersonal skills, active listening skills and excellent ability to coach/mentor to aid learner progression.

You will be teaching predominantly practical based sessions to our apprentices in our Centre Workshop although some theoretical sessions will be required.

 

We are looking for someone who has a strong Engineering background and has experience in hydraulics, pneumatics or fitting. Our ideal candidate will also have experience in teaching and assessing although this is not essential and full training and qualifications can be provided as part of our attractive benefits package.

We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who holds an appropriate Engineering qualification and a background of PLC/Electrical Engineering is essential. Our ideal candidate will have teaching and assessing experience although this is not essential as we will be able to provide development for the right individual to gain these skills and qualifications.
