About the role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity at Training 2000 for an Assistant Accountant to join a small team of professionals within the Finance department. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to join the team to support the growth of the programme and continue the successes.

 

The main purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and effective finance support service to Training 2000.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • To review the monthly management accounts ensuring that any mispostings are corrected in line with the monthly processing deadlines.

 

  • To prepare and post the month end journals, updating balance sheet reconciliations as appropriate.

 

  • To reconcile allocated balance sheet accounts in line with agreed deadlines.

 

  • To review the ledgers managed by UCLan at each month end, highlighting any issues and working in partnership with UCLan to resolve in a timely manner.

 

  • To build a solid working relationship with the transactional team at UCLan to facilitate smarter working around customer accounts and aid in the reduction in bad debt.

 

  • To provide support with the monthly finance meetings with budget holders.

 

  • To assist with the budget and forecasting processes, providing analysis as required.

 

  • To support the Accounts Apprentice providing advice, guidance and assistance as necessary

 

  • To have a clear understanding of the chart of accounts such that all transactions recorded are coded to the most appropriate department and nominal code enabling the preparation of clear and meaningful management accounts and analysis.

 

  • To ensure that all financial transactions processed are filed such that a clear audit trail is available to other team members and external auditors.

 

  • To prepare analysis to monitor and forecast costs, as directed by Head of Finance.

 

  • To assist with the year-end audit process, answering queries on ledger postings from the external auditors and supporting the Head of Finance as required.

 

  • To support with the integration of the new Commercial booking system, and work with Central Services and the Head OF Finance to create timely reporting and regular income reconciliations

 

  • Such other duties as reasonably correspond with the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity at Training 2000 for an AAT Skills Coach to join an established team of professionals within the Professional and Medical Services department. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to join the national award winning AAT team to support the growth of the programme and continue the successes.

 

The main purpose of the role is to deliver innovative and inspirational learning which covers the skills, knowledge and behaviours relevant to the occupational sector, whilst providing effective learner support.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • Support the learners and employers through setting relevant work-based projects and assisting with the portfolio build to showcase for the end point assessment for both Level 3 and Level 4

 

  • Co-ordinate and support training sessions within the classroom environment and preparation for tests to enable learners to complete AAT qualifications.

 

  • Assess Level 3 and Level 4 Portfolios to support in preparation for their EPA to enable learners to complete the required standard.

 

  • Involvement in the innovative design and development of the AAT apprenticeship standards

 

  • Conduct reviews, face to face or through Teams with the employer and learners reviewing skills, knowledge and behaviours through reviewing and setting of smart targets including English and Maths

About the role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity at Training 2000 for an Engineering Workshop Instructor – Fitter/Machinist to join an established team of professionals within the Engineering department. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to join the team to support the growth of the programme and continue the successes.

 

This is a multi-disciplined flexible role which provides a full and comprehensive training service to company’s based on their business needs. This role includes the delivery of professional and focused learning sessions to include fitting and machining on the Engineering programmes in the centre workshop as directed across the Engineering programmes. The post holder will be required to work with colleagues to ensure learners are effectively supported throughout their programme.

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

  • To design, develop and deliver creative, inclusive learning programmes, schemes of work, lesson plans and materials to deliver high quality structured learning sessions to meet learners’ needs and programme specifications. These will include broad based training and assessing of fitting and the main elements of machining, being milling and turning.

 

  • To contribute to the internal verification, assessment and standardisation of work and to the development and delivery of the SAR and the QIP in the pursuit of continuous improvement towards excellence.

 

  • To deliver motivational and inspirational learning programmes in a timely, cost effective manner, in line with specific business targets and quality assurance standards.

The main purpose of the role is to effectively lead a small team and oversee the provision of a comprehensive departmental service, to all internal and external  stakeholders, covering both the funded provision and commercial based courses, including customer service, data entry, bookings and management, quality assurance and administration control. We are looking for a committed, passionate and dedicated individual to join the team to support the growth of the programme and continue the successes.

 

The main purpose of the role is to deliver innovative and inspirational learning which covers the skills, knowledge, and behaviours relevant to the occupational sector, whilst providing effective learner support. You will also be responsible for the day to day operations of a caseload of learners on apprenticeship programmes through reviewing, managing, coaching, assessing and preparing learners/employers for the end point assessment within the Business Administration sector.

 

 

The key duties of the role will include:

 

 

  • To design, develop and deliver creative, inclusive high-quality learning programmes in accordance with awarding organisations specifications and standards, ensuring the effective evaluation of such programmes.

 

  • To provide 1 to 1s to assess and support learners on level 2 and level 3 Business Administration and Customer Service Level 2.
