Target Group

Persons who have no previous experience on lift trucks who are mature in manner towards work, they should normally have full movement of the trunk, neck and full use of their limbs, good hearing and eyesight.

Aims

A 5 day course for a person to obtain the RTITB Fork lift Truck Certificate, after completing the required practical and theoretical test/s, as laid down by current legislations and recommendations.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course the operator will be able to demonstrate how to operate a FLT correctly and safely, taking care and consideration for the people in and around the working area.

They will have demonstrated their practical ability of how to use a Fork Lift Truck under examination, the correct method of carrying out a pre use inspection and successfully completed a theory paper.
