Target Group

Trainees must have held a CISRS Scaffolder Card (Tube & Fitting) for a minimum of 12 months prior to attending the Advanced Scaffolder Course.

Aims

In line with CISRS requirement this 10 day training course upon successful completion will provide the candidate with a CISRS centre training certification.

Objectives

Upon completion the operative will be able, as a member of a team, to erect, alter and dismantle the covered scaffold structures safely and in the correct sequence.

The operative will be able to interpret complex design drawings

Content

The 2 week CISRS Advanced course will cover the following elements:

• ½ Day SG4:05 Training
• Tubular drop scaffold from steelwork
• Cantilever drop scaffold
• Two-way shore/dead shore
• Temporary roof scaffold
• Stairways
• Ramps
• Risk Assessment
• Method Statements
• Testing of Ties
• 50 Question Test Paper

Additional Information

When delivered in conjunction with the scaffolding NVQ Level 3, it may be possible to access partial funding via Train to Gain to support the training.
