March 20, 2020
The situation is changing on a daily basis and we will ensure we keep you updated on a regular basis.
Training 2000 will continue to follow guidance and instruction from Public Health England, Government and the Education and Skills Funding Agency in relation to COVID19 Coronavirus. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that learners’ health, safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of our decisions balanced with a respect of business needs for our employers.
Training 2000 will continue to deliver small cohorts of Apprenticeship workshop in Automotive, Engineering and Scaffolding. Alongside that we will be open for the delivery of commercial courses, this is subject to staffing availability and the safety of all staff, customers and learners. Further information on this will be provided to learners, employers and parents where necessary.
As per government guidance Training 2000 staff categorised as high risk or where the job role allows them staff will be working from home from Monday 23rd March 2020 until further notice. We will continue to follow guidance on staff self-isolating.
Training 2000 is doing everything we can to minimise the disputation during this difficult and unprecedented time. We are fully committed to continue to provide support, teaching, learning and assessments but the way we do that will be different to normal. To ensure this takes place we will be making adjustments, for example those learners who are no longer attending classes will move towards online / remote delivery and mentoring. All learners will be able to access Microsoft office 365 & Teams.
We are asking both learners and employers to continue to support or record the 20% off-the-job training.
We thank you for your patience and understanding at this challenging time while we work through the solutions.
