Learner Profile: Francesca

Francesca, 22 from Chorley became a part of the Training 2000 team three and a half years ago, straight after completing her A-Levels at college.

She has always been well aware that she learns much better on the job, so knew an apprenticeship was the most appropriate and enjoyable option for moving forward.

Francesca started off as a Business Assurance Apprentice with work experience only in the hospitality area. However, three and a half years later, she is now a Compliance Officer with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress in her career.

Whilst at Training 2000 Francesca has undertaken a number of qualifications suited to her role.

"I particularly enjoyed the Level 4 in Business and Professional Administration Apprenticeship at Training 2000. Not only was the content of the course interesting, relevant and delivered to a high standard, but I also felt well supported throughout. The staff at Training 2000 are a great support system that has remained consistent in my employment here."

Upon completion of the Level 4 Apprenticeship, Francesca was entered in to the BTEC National Awards with the outcome of Silver Award Winner BTEC Apprentice 19+ of the Year 2019.

Within her role there are aspects that are continuously changing, which ensures there is always opportunity for to stretch and challenge her knowledge and skills.

Francesca is keen to continue with her education and a career in this sector. She would like to progress on to a degree apprenticeship in Chartered Management and gain her CMI status, or even explore options such as getting involved in the support of learners on their apprenticeship journey.

With the progress already made here, Francesca looks forward to seeing what her future at Training 2000 looks like.
