Award winning Training 2000 has been established for over 50 years and are a large Group Training Association offering business solutions, commercial courses, Apprenticeship and Traineeship programmes across multiple industry sectors. In 2017, Training 2000 became part of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) meaning that Apprentices have direct routes to a Degree Apprenticeships.

All usual classroom teaching is now taking place remotely, meaning that you can start your career with a Traineeship now from home. A combination of live learning sessions, 1:1 tutorials using Microsoft Teams and recorded sessions. are to ensure that key workers and learners with other commitments can access sessions at a time that suits them.

These programmes are to help school leavers gain knowledge and understanding of their chosen vocational area. Learners also learn key employability skills to aid them in their future careers.

All Traineeships at Training 2000 include work experience as well as building on personable skills and knowledge to help learners reach their career goals.

Learners who are interested in taking their next steps into the world of work can start their journey in March 2021 with Traineeships in Engineering, Business Admin and Accounting.

Training 2000 are a part of the University of Central Lancashire meaning learners can have direct pathway to Degree Level Apprenticeships. Earn, learn and study without the debt of going to university.

Discussing the recent National Lockdown Lead Tutor Jonathon Ayling said, “We have updated our employability section of the Traineeship to reflect the needs of learners whose learning has been disrupted by Covid-19.”

“We have adapted the sessions to ensure they are engaging and interactive for learners who are working from home with the current restrictions. Learners are keen to get back and prepare themselves for work.”

AAT Learner Dylan said about the Traineeship,“ I have enjoyed every lesson and I don’t think there is anything we have been taught or gone over that has not been useful.”

“These are the kind of things we should have been learning in School.”

An Engineering Traineeship learner went on to say “My confidence has grown and I have learned a lot of useful information.”

A recent Automotive Traineeship learner said, “You can’t put a price on the skills we have learned on this course.”

National Apprenticeship Week 2021

From Monday 8 February to Sunday 14 February, Training 2000 based in Blackburn, will be taking part in National Apprenticeship Week with a variety of virtual activities

National Apprenticeship Week 2021 is almost here, and this year more than ever we want to reflect and celebrate the impact of apprenticeships for both learners and employers and in turn for the wider community of England.

Training 2000 who are part of the University of Central Lancashire will be hosting live virtual open events during National Apprenticeship Week 2021 for young people interested in traineeships and apprenticeships.

The live events will take place via their website from 5pm on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 February 2021.

The live virtual events will offer school leavers, their parents or carers or anyone interested in an apprenticeship the opportunity to learn more about Training 2000’s apprenticeships and the various pathways they provide to numerous careers up to a Degree level qualification.

The theme for this year’s celebrations is Build the Future and it is a chance to acknowledge the impact apprenticeships can have on learners helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to pursue their chosen career.

Apprenticeships are also a great way for employers to build a workforce with the skills they need to succeed as a company.

Training 2000 offer apprenticeships in the following areas; Accounting, Automotive, Business Admin, Customer Service, Dental Nursing, Digital, Engineering, Optics, Senior Healthcare Support Worker, Scaffolding and are always looking to expand this list.

As well as virtual open events, Training 2000 will be taking part in the National Apprenticeship Week social media activity using the hashtags #NAW2021 #BuildTheFuture #AskAnApprentice #AskAnEmployer to help learners, employers and parents & carers to understand the benefits apprenticeships can bring.
