Training 2000 are pleased to announce our AAT apprentices have achieved 100% pass rates from the current level 2 groups across the North West on their synoptic assessments for the NEW AQA AAT 2016 standards. All apprentices have passed the first time which is a superb achievement for all.
This is the very first time these assessments have taken place in line with the Government changes in the Apprenticeship reform.
Rowena Brough, Business Manager stated – “What a fantastic achievement for all the apprentices – we are very proud of the hard work the students have put in to achieve these results in the times of change. These results are also a credit to employers for supporting their apprentices on day release for the AAT course”
The AAT foundation level 2 synoptic assessment examines learners on their knowledge of the book keeping transactions, book keeping controls, ethics, elements of costing and working effectively units.
A synoptic assessment tests the knowledge they have gained throughout the course, covering multiple (but not all) topics. It has been introduced to demonstrate their knowledge of core accountancy skills, their ability to apply them in the workplace and further show employers their status as a Qualified Accounting Technician – beyond just passing exams.
It is essential Under AQ2016 to complete the new synoptic assessment before moving on to the next level. At Training 2000 we will support the Apprenticeships progressing to their AAT Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship.
Congratulations to all the group!
